These rules decide which founders Ruya meets. Select a rule to read it, or select Suggest a change. The AI engineer tests each change and then ships it.

Words on this page

Priority: A Contact with an exceptional founder record and an unusually ready venture or a prior exit in the same market.
Contact: Ruya talks to the founder now. A conversation is the best next way to test the opportunity.
Watchlist: Ruya keeps following the person. The record could justify Contact when the gap on the card closes.
Reject: Ruya does not follow the person.
A strong past record: The person's own record passes at least one of four tests: a core technical role at a strong employer or lab; a doctorate or group leadership in a Ruya sector; a founder, co-founder or CTO role at a company that shipped a technical product; or technical work credited to the person, such as code, a paper, a patent or a prototype. Watchlist needs one.
Ruya sector: One of Ruya's six sectors: battery, semiconductors, materials, robotics, AI and novel computing.
Outside the current scope: Sectors and countries that Ruya OS does not source at the moment. Ruya OS sources founders in the UK and Europe at the moment.
Skip: Ruya does not research the person further.
